Are your number plates road legal?

Yes — all of our plates can be made fully road legal for UK use when compliant options are selected.

They are manufactured to meet DVLA and BS AU 145e standards, including correct font, spacing, and required markings.

Do I need to provide documents?

Yes. If you are ordering road legal number plates, you are legally required to provide documentation.

👉 You must upload:

• Proof of identity (e.g. driving licence or passport)
• Proof of entitlement (e.g. V5C or V750)

We cannot process your order until these are received.

What happens if I don’t upload my documents?

Your order will be placed on hold until valid documents are provided.

If documents are not received within a reasonable time, your order may be cancelled and refunded.

What’s the difference between 2D, 3D, 4D and 4D Gel?

• 2D Plates – Standard flat printed finish (factory/OEM style)
• 3D Gel Plates – Raised domed letters with a smooth gloss finish
• 4D Plates – Sharp, laser-cut raised characters (e.g. 3mm or 5mm)
• 4D Gel Plates – Raised 4D letters with an added gel layer for extra thickness and shine

Are 4D and 3D plates legal?

Yes — only when they meet current UK regulations.

We offer compliant options, but:

• Incorrect spacing
• Non-standard fonts
• Overly modified designs

Can I customise spacing or design?

Yes, but:
