### 1. Overview

This website is operated by Plate Source. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Plate Source.

By accessing our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

### 2. Products & Services

We specialise in the manufacture and supply of custom number plates, including:
- 2D printed plates  
- 3D gel plates  
- 4D and 4D gel plates  

All products are made to order based on the information provided by the customer.

### 3. Road Legal Compliance

We supply number plates in accordance with UK regulations, including standards set by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
- The selected plate style complies with road legal requirements  
- The use of the plates on a vehicle is lawful  

We are not liable for misuse of plates that do not comply with UK law.

### 4. Proof of Entitlement & Identity

For road legal number plates, customers must provide:
- Valid proof of identity (e.g. driving licence or passport)  
- Proof of entitlement to the registration (e.g. V5C or V750)

Orders will not be processed until documentation has been received and verified.

We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service if documentation is not valid  
- Cancel orders where legal requirements are not met

### 5. Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring all details submitted are correct, including:
- Registration text  
- Spacing and formatting  
- Plate size and specifications  

We are not responsible for errors entered by the customer. Orders produced with incorrect information are not eligible for refund or replacement.

### 6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to:
- Change prices at any time  
- Refuse or cancel orders where pricing errors occur  

Payment must be made in full before production begins.

### 7. Production & Delivery

Estimated production and delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:
- Missing documentation  
- Incorrect order details  
- Courier issues outside of our control  

We are not liable for delays once the order has been dispatched.

### 8. Returns & Refunds

All number plates are custom-made, and as such, are exempt from cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

We do not offer returns or refunds unless:
- The item is faulty, or  
- The item arrives damaged

### 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plate Source shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss  
- Loss resulting from misuse of products  
- Legal penalties arising from non-compliant plate use
